Uttar Pradesh bags award for free laptop scheme

The Uttar Pradesh government's ambitious free laptop scheme to class XII passout students has bagged the Certificate of Excellence Award in the category of Best Government Initiative in Education at a conclave held in Hyderabad. A state government spokesperson said the award came Uttar Pradesh's way at the e-India Governance Summit 2013 organised at Hyderabad.
