Administration, banking, finance and engineering are the most appealing sciences to UAE students studying abroad. A report released by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on scholarships said nearly 211 male and female students graduated this year from these streams with 66 in administrative sciences, 48 in banking and finance and 33 in engineering and engineering sciences. The report indicated that less students were attending medicine and medical sciences with only 14 graduates. Nine graduate each in humanities and computers sciences, eight in media, seven in education, five in sciences, four in law and two each in sciences and fine arts, and one each in genetics, police sciences, arts, tourism and hotel. Holders of PhD stood at 13, Masters at 39 and BA at 157.
