The first empowerment course for the students who study at the first grade of MSc in the field of nanotechnology will be held in February 2012. The goal of the course is to empower university students in nanotechnology fields to enter the labor market, to help them with assigning applied subjects for their theses at higher levels of education, and to provide consultation for choosing the correct path for education and career. In this course, the following subjects will be presented to the students in forms of classroom, workshop, roundtable, and Q & A. Introduction to nanotechnology applications in industry; Introduction to nanotechnology status in Iran and in the world; Introduction to the concept of entrepreneurship and business; Introduction to nanotechnology related jobs; Introduction to the laboratory network and the equipment required in nanotechnology; Introduction to successful theses related to nanotechnology, and Introduction to the process of idea to market, and to Tech-Market Services Corridor. The course is allocated only to MSc students at the first grade, whose field of study is related to nanotechnology. Eligible students can register in the course, which will be held in the form of a 3-day camp.
