Tunis - MAP

Minister delegate for higher education, scientific research and executives’ training Soumia Benkhaldoun and Tunisian Higher Education Minister Tawfik Jelassi examined, on Wednesday in Tunis, means to promote cooperation in the field of higher education to make it a strategic partnership. In a meeting with the Tunisian minister, Benkhaldoun highlighted the reforms carried out by Morocco in higher education and scientific research to reinforce the education system, meet the needs of the job market and contribute to the country’s overall development. These reforms touched mainly on the legislative and pedagogical areas like matching training with the job market and reviewing the law on higher education status. Benkhaldoun underlined the Moroccan-Tunisian cooperation ties in the field of scientific research mainly through the exchange of students, calling for setting up an executive cooperation program to implement agreements concluded between the two countries.
