The University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia, the parent institution of the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD), has achieved the 33rd spot in the Times Higher Education (THE) global list of Top 100 Under 50. The rating is the highest that a young university in Dubai has had. The Top 100 Under 50 list is a new addition to the World University Rankings portfolio. The analysis focuses on newer global universities rather than the older and more established institutions. The Republic of Korea’s Pohang University of Science and Technology was rated No 1 in the list.from gulfnews.com
