Minister of Education Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nu'aimi headed the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation to the 23rd Arab Education Ministers General Assembly for member countries at the Arab Education Office for Gulf countries Riyadh.
The meeting discussed its agenda, including the report of the Executive Council's chairman which coincides with Bahrain's presidency of the General Assembly, the projects planed for implementation by the Office in 2015-2016, programmes and functions geared towards member countries to meet the requirements for implementation of the Office's strategy, programmes which boost coordination, cooperation and integration between member countries and international cooperation programmes, programmes for adolescents development to boost citizenship values, family and community atmospheres in education, programmes to develop education policies, spread best practices, and programmes to develop Arab language and its learning.
The Ministers endorsed a Gulf Talent Day on March 3 each year which will be celebrated under the slogan: "Gulf Talent and Creativity Day" in the United Arab Emirates next year (3 March 2015).
