His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has attended the graduation of his granddaughter Her Highness Shaikha Aisha bint Rashid Al Khalifa from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS), near London.
The graduation ceremony was held under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who delegated Prime Minister Theresa May to attend the ceremony.
The graduation was also attended by a number of members of the royal family and invitees.
The British Premier, in her speech, congratulated the graduates and stressed that their countries would be proud of their leadership and discipline demonstrated during their training, congratulating HH Shaikha Aisha Al Khalifa as the first Bahraini woman graduate from the RMAS, and wished her success in her academic and practical life.
HRH Prime Minister congratulated his granddaughter and commended her persistent efforts that have qualified her to success from one of the world's most prestigious military academies.
HRH Prime Minister said HH Shaikha Aisha has given a fine example of resolve, determination and boldness that reflects the reputation of Bahraini, Gulf and Arab women for achieving goals in various work sites. He took pride in HH Shaikha Aisha as the first Bahraini woman graduate from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
HRH Prime Minister paid tribute to Bahraini youth as they are a source of pride for their strong enthusiasm to uplift their country and community.
He said the government has realized the need for promoting the educational sector to achieve prosperity.
HH Shaikha Aisha expressed appreciation of HRH Prime Minister's support that have given her fresh impetus to attain success, affirming HRH Prime Minister's presence at the graduation ceremony is a great honour to her.
She also thanked the RMAS for following her study up and encouraging her throughout the course, looking forward to continue her academic march to serve the national development march.
