Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa has attended a lecture highlighting Bahrain’s legislation in the light of regional and international standards as well as the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on combating money laundering and terrorism finance.
The lecture was presented by Chancellor Sari Seyam the Chief of Egypt’s Judiciary Council and former Head of Egypt's Cassation Court, on November 19 and 21.
The lecture was hosted by Bahrain Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies, and attended by Deputy Head of the Supreme Judiciary Council Chancellor Abdullah Al Buainain, Judges, Prosecution Members, and affiliates of the Interior Ministry.
The Institute’s Director Ramzan Al Nuaimi affirmed the Institute’s keenness on hosting key judiciary and academic experts in the Arab region to boost the cognitive and academic experience of the denominations targeted by the Institute.
