President of Kuwait University (KU) Dr. Abdullatif Al-Bader singed here on Saturday a memorandum of understanding with President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) Dr. Ali Jaafarian promoting the exchange of teachers and students between the two universities. Commenting on the visit to Iran by himself and a delegation from the KU accompanying him, Dr. Al-Bader told KUNA that the visit was within KU's plans to pursue friendship links with institutions of higher learning in the region, with an eye to exchange with them students and teachers and educational expertise. He said the delegation with him was impressed with TUMS's school of nursing which he said KU lacked at the present time, and was also impressed with the college of agriculture at the University of Ferdousi when the delegation visited it in the Iranian city of Mashad. He said that it was imperative that KU should have a similar college of agriculture
