The University of Bahrain (UoB)'s Chancellor, Dr Ibrahim Mohammed Janahi (Ph.D), during a ceremony organized in honor of 145 distinctive students for their high achievement, urged non-procrastination or delaying so that high achievement, creativity and advancement become inseparable characteristics of individual persons throughout the stages of their lifetime. This came during the ceremony organized in recognition of academically high-achieving students whose names have been included in the Chancellor's Honors List during the first and second semesters of the past academic year 2011/2012. Dr Ibrahim Mohammed Janahi - in a speech delivered on behalf of him by the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Adnan Al-Tamimi (Ph.D) – described high-achieving students as multi-faceted highly glowing and luminous radiation and said that high achievement will be their universal key to attain success and open all closed doors and secure more than others shining opportunities in higher (post-graduate) studies and in their future career.
