His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa patronised today the graduation ceremony of the 23 batch of the University of Bahrain (UoB) College of Arts. He deputised Education Minister and UoB Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi to attend the graduation ceremony which was held at Shaikh Abdul-Aziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall at the Sakhir Campus.
Addressing the event, UoB President Dr. Riyadh Yousef Hamza extended thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier for patronising the ceremony, hailing his support to the educational sector. He congratulates the students on their graduation, urging them to pursue their dedicated efforts to serve their nation.
College of Arts Dean Dr. Abdul-Aziz Boulila also delivered a speech in which he congratulated graduates and their parents, stressing the expansion of the post-graduate programmes and increasing number of students.
Student Mariam Faqihi addressed the ceremony on behalf of the graduates, paying tribute to the wise leadership and thanking teachers and parents. The Education Minister, the Deputy patron of the ceremony, presented the graduates with their certificates. The ceremony was attended by UoB Deputy Presidents, members of the academic and administrative staff and the graduates’ families.
