Professor Dr. Reyadh AlMehaideb, Vice President of Zayed University, has stated that Zayed University is well equipped to deliver graduates competent enough to fill leading positions across various sectors in the UAE.
This came during his visit to Najah, UAE’s leading higher education and career exhibition, which is currently commencing in its 11th edition at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC.
During his visit, AlMehaideb stressed the keenness of Zayed University to participate in such exhibitions to display scientific and educational programmes that meet international educational standards. He praised the students' academic research capabilities and leadership skills that had been developed throughout extracurricular activities and initiatives.
He pointed out that the university records with the beginning of the current academic year showed a clear increase in the admission rate of about 30 percent, raising the number of students enrolled in the bachelor's degree to about 10000 students in both its campuses in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, along with hundreds of students currently completing their postgraduate programmes.
"Zayed University is keen on offering highly-qualified competent graduates who are capable of adding to the nation’s ongoing development process, I personally believe that the provision of specialised international standard programmes, which could be provided through excellent educational environments, enhance our role and participation to such a noble objective," AlMehaideb said.
