Counselling Point Education and Social services will host its annual seminar called "Head Start for Higher Education" this week. The seminar is in its eighth year and offers students the opportunity to learn about various international university options. It is open to secondary school students from grades nine to 13 who are considering an overseas university education, and their parents. The event has been strategically timed to allow students ample time to meet university application deadlines. There will be information on the application process and visa requirements along with vital information on key places like the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Information on the UAE as a study destination will also be included. Students and their parents will have an opportunity to ask questions and collect additional information from representatives. Attendees will also receive a free education handbook to help them navigate through the university application process.
