Entekhab University of Applied Science and Technology is scheduled to hold a national conference entitled 'New Technologies in Home Appliances Industry' at the venue of the university on May 31, 2012. Optimizing the appliance industry by using scientific experiences is the aim of the organizers of the conference. Among other objectives of the conference, mention can be made of the provision of suitable atmosphere for presenting the latest scientific, research, and industrial achievements in various fields of appliance industry; promotion and development of knowledge-based management in appliance industry; creation of appropriate environment for the production of competitive products; identification of the needs and capabilities of this industry; creation of connection between industry and university by using the commercialization of scientific achievements; and stabilization of the position of appliance industry in sustainable development of the country. The titles of the issues related to nanotechnology, which will be discussed in the conference, are as follows: 'nanomaterials, intelligent materials and composites', 'novel technologies in the production of heat exchangers', 'optimization and novel technologies in productive processes'. Researchers and industrialists can send the abstract of their articles to the conference secretariat by February 15, 2012.
