The Kuwait Cultural Bureau in Los Angeles paid a visit to four universities at the state of Utah to discuss allocating seats for Kuwaitis and means for cooperation with Kuwaiti educational establishments. The visits in November were made by cultural advisor and Bureau Director Mansour Jiragh and Cultural Attache Anwar Al-Khrainij, a bureau statement mentioned. The discussions focused on allowing seats at the medical schools of these universities which included the University of Utah, Utah State University, Weber State University and Utah valley University. The statement went on to express hope that the meetings would result in the signature of cooperation agreements over the coming days. As Kuwaiti overseas college students have been accumulating in only a handful of areas in the United States, the bureau hopes to increase their geographic allocation amongst the states.
