Wisdom Educational Group has launched its latest division CILT - Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport - International Programmes at Wisdom Business School FZE in Dubai on Saturday. Alexander Borg, Regional Director of the CILT, has officially launched the CILT programmes in a ceremony, in which passed-out certificates were distributed to 99 MBA students of Sikkim Manipal University by Thimmiya, CEO of Manipal Education - Mena region. “The CILT is the leading professional body associated with logistics and transport with over 35,000 members spread over more than 100 countries,” Borg said. “The CILT, which now holds an unparalleled professional International recognition, was established in the year 1919 and received its Royal Charter, UK in the year 1926,” he added. “In UAE, where 11 per cent the GDP is coming from the logistics industry, the CILT can contribute much due its quality and standard in imparting professional training and academic qualification in the logistics and supply chain management,” pointed out Borg. BF Rafi, Director and CEO of Wisdom, said: “The Chartered Membership (CMILT) and International Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transport will be one of the major programmes will be offered by CILT.”
