French “first lady” Valerie Trierweiler was protested during her visit in Lebanon. Protestors met Triewiler at a book fair with the photos of Abdullah and shouted slogans as “France! Justice or Revenge?” Speaking to AA, a protestor, Hasan Sabran, said “Abdullah was released by the court but he couldn’t get his freedom and couldn’t return his country because French Interior Minister, Manuel Valls, didn’t take necessary steps.” George Abdullah was arrested in 1984 charging with organizing terrorist acts, attempting to assassinations of French and Israeli diplomats. Abdullah gained a right of parole because of age limit, but his request was rejected by French authorities.
