Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Hala Al Ansari received the General Organisation for Youth and Sports (GOYS)'s Director of Youths and Sports Department, President of Students Council at the University of Bahrain (UOB) Talal Al-Sihli and Head of Law College association at UOB Ahmed Al- Jalahma.
They explored means of activating youth's role in supporting programmes and projects in line with the National Strategy for the Advancement of Bahraini Women, in cooperation and coordination with the SCW's Youth Committee.
They discussed ways of cooperation with SCW's Youth Committee to launch a campaign entitled " I'm Bahrain" to support societal and youth participation in parliamentary and municipal elections in November, as well as holding a number of media events and youth forums to raise the youth awareness of the importance of participating in elections so as to practice the rights given to them by the constitution.
SCW has launched the national campaign "I Am Bahrain" in 2011 to express the loyalty to Bahrain, consolidate cohesion among the citizens and promote patriotism.
