First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will patronize a symposium entitled (Empowerment of Women) organized by Midpoint and in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor on Tuesday 24 Sep 2013, Paula Reed will deliver the lecture. The Symposium will be held within the efforts of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to support Bahraini women in all fields so as to be a partner and an active element in building and promoting the State, through ensuring the women's stability and equal competitive opportunities as well as options diversity available within supportive legislation and State policies. Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa pointed out the importance of organizing such events and programs aimed at promoting awareness of the role of women and enabling them to play their active role in the society, and praised the Supreme Council for Woman's programs led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa. Midpoint's Chairman Shaikha Noora bint Khalifa Al Khalifa said the symposium targets tackling the most important challenges facing women and solutions to meet them, learn leadership skills and means to develop women's capabilities in various fields. She lauded the patronage of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and thanked the sponsoring sides, Minister of Labor and Tamkeen, and wished the participants success in achieving their ambitions.
