The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) has reviewed, in the presence of its Secretary-General Hala Al-Ansari and a number of officials at the Secretariat-General, the strategic plan for the year 2014 regarding the implementation of the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2014-2022). During the two-day meeting, the SCW's members were informed about the Strategic Plan and exchanged views regarding the proposed programmes and projects for the year 2014, and ways of implementing them in partnership with the concerned ministries and institutions so as to ensure they achieve the targeted indicators and impacts. The meeting also reviewed the work teams' findings and plans to reach the impacts targeted by the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women, including family stability, equal opportunities, life-long learning, quality of life and house of experience. The SCW's Secretariat-General's work team's achievements during the planning and implementation phases concerning field visits to identify the available indicators in order to achieve effects were also highlighted.
