Most women feel 'lost' and 'naked' without their electronic 'link to the world', a new survey has found. The new Kidspot website research also found that 83 per cent of women prefer to keep in touch by text compared with 42 per cent who make a call. The survey of 5435 women aged between 18 and 65 also found that smart phones are considered a 'window to information and knowledge', with recording, camera, mailing, GPS and video chat functions serving as a trustworthy personal assistant, reports News website. Nearly 30 per cent said they couldn't live without their phone, 24 per cent have an "emotional relationship" with it and 22 per cent say it's purely practical. Only 3 per cent reported using a mobile phone out of necessity, either for business or to stay in touch with children.
