The President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir has received an official invitation from President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev , to take part in the 1rst Islamic Summit on Science and Technology in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan , next September.
The invitation was handed to him over , Thursday in the Republican Palace by Envoy of Kazakh President, Arman Asagalyev.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Hamid Mumtaz said in press statements that the President has accepted the invitation and promised participation , pointing out that the participation would a new opening for joint cooperation in economic and political fields , particularly that , he explained, Kazakhstan is a promising in agricultural and technological domains.
He indicated that Sudan participation would an addition to its external political openness.
The Kazakh Envoy unveiled that over 20 Presidents and heads of State of Arab and Islamic countries will partake in the Summit which contribute to boosting technological development in the Arab and Islamic countries.
He noted that Sudan participation in the Summit would open doors for cooperation and exchange of experiences between Sudan and Kazakhstan in areas of economy, higher education, energy, agriculture and industry.
