Apple delivers iSO 5.0.1 with battery bug fix to a selected end users in the wake of battery-life issues confirmed last week, according to PC Magazine. The early iSO 5, unreleased to the market yet, is supposed to remedy battery-life issues that Apple users have complained in the last weeks. In addition to the battery bug fix, there are other five updates, including added multitasking gestures for the original iPad, resolved bugs with documents in the cloud, and improved voice recognition for Australian users using dictation, etc. The 9to5 Mac, an Apple rumor community website, said those who have taken the update offer could not downgrade from iSO 5.0.1 to iSO 5, but they can update once the final software released. After the release of iPhone 4S and iSO 5 last month, complaints on decreased battery life cropped up on the Internet. Some users reported that the device ran out of power within a workday, far sooner than Apple promised 200 hours of standby time. Last week, Apple officially confirmed the issue and said they would deliver a software update "in a few weeks."
