Beinjing -Arabsotday

It looks like Samsung will finally have some competition in the OLED display production arena, as Japan Display, a joint venture between Sony's, Hitachi's, and Toshiba's display divisions, has announced intents to mass produce OLED(INFO) panels. Japan Display says that it will have samples for manufacturers by March 2013, and its displays will have pixel densities greater than 300ppi and be more efficient than Samsung's current OLED panels. OLED displays are very common in small devices like smartphones, and are usually seen with branding such as Super AMOLED(INFO) and ClearBlack AMOLED. Thus far, Samsung has been the dominant manufacturer of OLED displays.
