AU summit welcomes Egypt's proposal to host space agency

The 24th African Union summit welcomed Friday a proposal by Egypt to host the African Space Agency headquarters.
The summit considers a draft report on the agency which is suggested to boost cooperation in the agriculture, telecommunication and climate change domains.
Earlier during the AU Foreign Ministers meetings, Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry raised Cairo's request to host the new continental facility.
