His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that strategic research centres in GCC countries should support the GCC decision-making process and develop GCC media message so as to keep abreast of the rapid global media developments and be able to face the media campaigns targeting GCC countries for the sake of undermining their milestone achievements. This came as HRH Premier received here today the Director-General of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies & Research (ECSSR) Dr. Jamal Sanad Al-Suwaidi and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Chairman of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) Mones Mahmoud Al Mardi. HRH Premier highlighted the importance of GCC specialised research centres in the decision-making process based on a scientific approach, objectivity, thorough study and analysis, calling upon them to keep channels of communication open with foreign centres so as to make sure that their studies are based on solid data and ensure Arabs' influential presence in international studies. HRH Prime Minister hailed the solid Bahraini-UAE ties, which, he affirmed, represent a role model of successful bilateral relations of joint cooperation and complementarity in all fields, praising the good reputation of ECSSR and its effective participation in brotherly UAE's development and progress marches. Members of the UAE delegation briefed HRH Premier about the studies conducted by ECSSR in the political, social and security fields for the aim of presenting scientific analysis that supports the decision-making process at all levels.
