Bahraini telecommunications minister receives TRA director-general

Minister of State for Telecommunications Affairs Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa today received Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) director-general Mohammed bin Hamad Bubsheet and discussed the elaboration of the 4th National Telecommunications Plan 2015-2018.
In a statement today, the minister said that the proposed roadmap would be based on the future of the telecommunications, the Government's vision regarding this pivotal sector as well as its contribution to Bahrain's digitalized economy. Shaikh Fawaz discussed with the (TRA) director-general the components which will be incorporated in the 2015-2018 strategy, stressing particularly the protection of customers' privacy, in addition to the Government's policies, internet applications, licences and radio frequencies (RF).
