At the 4th International Takaful Summit 2010 in London, Global financial technology solutions and services provider, 3i Infotech is in the limelight. This is third year in a row that the developer of industry-famous PREMIA suite won the “Best Takaful Technology Company” award. Takaful Summit is organized every year by the Middle East Business Forum and Afkar Consulting. The Takaful awards are designed to honor companies and practitioners that have contributed the most to the growing Takaful market. Presently, there are approximately 150 Takaful companies operating across the continents in South-East Asia, the Middle East and Africa and 3i Infotech seems to lead the market with its suits of Takaful insurance solutions. The “Best Takaful Technology Company” award for the third consecutive year recognizes 3i’s leadership position in the sector. Presented by Lord Mohammed Sheikh, Chairman of Camberford Law Plc, the award win followed an extensive judging and selection process that was overseen by a host of journalists, lawyers and Takaful practitioners, the 3i officials informed. The event featured a number of high profile speakers from around the world who discussed some of the most important issues facing the relatively new yet, fast growing, Takaful market. “Despite the recent international economic turmoil, the appetite for Takaful financial products and services has grown rapidly over the course of the past few years, as individuals and businesses recognize the benefits that the market can deliver. Thanks to the strength of new and existing partnerships with key practitioners currently working within the space, we are proud to be able to offer a solution that meets the needs of this burgeoning insurance market,” Faisal Khan, Director Insurance and Banking for 3i Infotech, Western Europe, said. 3i Infotech is a global Information Technology company which provides technology solutions to over 1500 customers in more than 50 countries, based in Dubai.
