Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, has added a bill-payment feature to its smart app on Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 watches, a new service which reflects DEWA's commitment to developing and providing innovative services to its customers via different smart devices.
DEWA's application on the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 offers several services and features, including access to bill information, customer service centre locations and contact numbers.
Moza Al Akraf, Acting CIO at DEWA, said, "At DEWA, we provide pioneering services and applications that support our objective to reach our customers anytime, anywhere. Customers can now use Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 smart watches to gain instant and easy access to our services and make payments securely using their favourite smart devices to complete their transactions. These efforts will help us to achieve our goal to complement smart transformation in the U.A.E. and achieve the vision of our wise leadership."
