Digital camera inventor to attend informatics gathering in Kuwait

The committee for His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah's informatics prize will host Monday digital camera inventor Steven J. Sasson at its' informatics "Diwaniya", said an official here Sunday.
Coordinator at the Informatics Diwaniya Dr. Fayez Al-Dhafiri said in a press release that Sasson will deliver a presentation on the history of the digital camera, its evolution and future applications of the device.
Sasson created the digital camera in 1975. The digital camera helped in revolutionizing modern technology from smartphones to laptops, and other devices.
Sasson's invention had many applications with the digital camera being used for education, surgery, space exploration and so on.
