Egypt, UAE to sign cooperation deal on research projects

Egypt and the United Arab Emirates will sign on Monday a cooperation protocol to support applied and research projects. The protocol will be inked by the Science and Technology Development Fund affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Scientific Research and the UAE Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF). The signing of the deal will be attended by Nadia Zakhari, minister of scientific research, executive director of the fund Mahmoud Saqr told MENA on Sunday. The protocol aims at supporting research, applied and innovative projects through providing necessary finance to promising projects, Saqr added.
