The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre (SZGMC) will organise the new format for the fourth season of its "Spaces of Light" Photography Competition, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Presidential Affairs. The event represents an opportunity to acquaint with "Aesthetics of Architecture in Abu Dhabi". This season will include two main categories which encourage photographers to focus on the architectural aesthetics. Yousif Al Obaidli, Director of the SZGMC said the Spaces of Light Photography Competition is one of the most professional photography contests in the world, adding that the event aims to promote photography in and outside the UAE. As the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre honors artistic appreciation, cultural and intellectual understanding, the "Spaces of Light" photography competition was launched in October 2010 and continues under the patronage of H.H. The SZGMC management is making great efforts to provide ways to ensure the success of this unique photographic competition, with the support of Chairman Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the SZGMC Board members.
