The government will launch a new mobile application on Sunday to ease citizen access to government services.
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail received a report from Planning Minister Ashraf el Araby on the application called "Hokomty" (my government).
Citizens will be able to download the application on their cell phones to access services offered by the government easily, including renewing vehicle licenses and paying traffic tickets, available to Cairo residents only in the first phase, Araby said.
In Giza and Alexandria, citizens will be able to pay their water bills through the application and electricity bills for all citizens nationwide, he said.
The services to be offered, nearly forty different ones, will include also shop and construction licenses and will be available in all governorates in the second phase, he added.
