Beijing - Arabstoday

New details surrounding the HTC One X have surfaced to paint a better picture of what we'll be seeing at MWC 2012. The One X has been formerly known under the names HTC Edge and HTC Endeavor but the Taiwanese manufacture looks set to roll out the 'One' brand on a number of new handsets. The latest details have come courtesy of an Android @ MoDaCo tipster and it's reported that HTC will be dumping its famous four buttons below the screen in favour of on-screen Ice Cream Sandwich options. The leaked information suggests that the One X will only feature power and volume rocker buttons on a case which is expected to be thin, without compromising build quality. Need more storage? No probl… oh, wait A little surprisingly there will be no microSD (or any type) card support on the One X, with HTC solely relying on the internal 32GB of storage – a la iPhone 4S. The tipster also confirmed that the One X will use microSIMs in a quest for thinness and will pack an 1800mAh battery. This is a beefier battery than found in the Galaxy S2 and iPhone 4S and the One X will need it to power the 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 4.7-inch HD (720p) Super LCD screen. The 8MP camera on the back of the One X will apparently be able to capture full HD video and stereo microphones will improve audio quality on recordings. We have already heard that the One X will be running Google's latest version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, but it was also revealed it should ship with version 4.0.5. It looks highly likely that the HTC One X will be unveiled at MWC 2012 in Barcelona at the end of February along side at least two other handsets in the HTC One range, the One S and One V.
