Chinese company Huawei on Sunday presented several new products in the Spanish city of Barcelona, where the Mobile World Congress (MWC) will start on Monday. In a press conference held in Barcelona, Huawei showcased the new Huawei Ascent G6, a smartphone with a 4.5 inch qHD screen, a 5 mega-pixel front camera and a 8 mega-pixel back camera, which allows the spontaneous taking of self-focused photos at a price of just 249 euros (341 U.S. dollars). Huawei also presented the Huawei MediaPad X1, the thinnest "phablet" (a mixture of phone and tablet) in the world. Barcelona also saw the presentation of the M1 tablet, which is a sophisticated entertainment system with an eight-inch tactile screen developed with SWS Huawei technology, allowing users to watch films, TV shows etc in High Definition, with a battery allowing eight hours playing time. The M1 weighs just 329 grams and its 4G technology permits users to download a 1G film in just a minute. Finally Huawei presented the Huawei Talkband, a device which is sure to capture attention given that is an intelligent wrist devise which allows seven hours of conversation, and can also be used as a sports device, given that it counts kilometers run and calories burned off. Huawei highlighted during the presentation that its aim is to present products at an attractive and accessible price, while never failing to innovate and listen to the needs of its clients. These are reasons why the company shifted 52 million units in 2013, according to Executive Vice-President Colin Giles. (1 euro = 1.37 U.S.dollars)
