Iran builds first indigenous weather radar

Iran will unveil the first home-made weather radar for investigating cloud seeding circumstances soon, media reports said. This newly-developed Iranian model of weather radar has been installed in the country's weather system and will be inaugurated in the coming weeks, the reports said. The reports added that all the weather radars, which have been in use in Iran's weather system thus far, have been imported from foreign countries, underlining that it is the first Iran-made weather radar which will be able to detect cloud seeding circumstances, the Iranian students news agency reported.
