Kuwait jumped up 14 places in the 2014 UN E-Government Survey's Development Index since 2012, according to the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT).
Kuwait additionally sustained rises in sub-indexes, like the infrastructure index (+40pct).
The survey hailed coordination between the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council which resulted in the formation of an integrated unified body for an e-government system which made their nations among the 50 top nations on e-government readiness.
It also praised the efforts of Kuwaiti state bodies, which it said had a profound effort on the achievement
