The first Arab-Indian Conference on Information and communications technology (ICT) was organized, on Thursday in New Delhi, with the participation of 14 states including Morocco.
This meeting was held in accordance with the recommendations by the Arab-Indian partnership Congress aimed to explore prospects for strengthening relations between the Arab world and India in the field of information and communication.
Organized on the eve of the 4th the Arab-Indian partnership Congress under the theme “The role of media in strengthening Arab-Indian relations”, the conference is part of the promotion of meetings between officials from the information sector of both parties in order to launch media projects of shared interest.
For his part, Said Sihida, Director of Documentation and Portals at the Moroccan Ministry of Communication, said the information sector plays a key strategic role as an engine for economic and social development and Arab-Indian successful cooperation.
