President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad urged Iranian aerospace scientists on Thursday to mobilize their efforts to send manned spacecraft to space and go higher into orbit in the next 10 years. The President made the demand in an address to the opening ceremony of an exhibition of the latest achievements of the Iranian aerospace scientists and experts. The exhibition was held to commemorate two occasions of the 33rd victory anniversary of Iran's Islamic Revolution as well as the national day of space technology. “Try to reach the two objectives of sending human to space and launching satellites higher into orbit until the solar year of 1400 (2022 Christian year),” President Ahmadinejad told Iranian scientists. He stressed that the goals would be reached through mobilizing domestic manpower and facilities. President Ahmadinejad also said that his government would support every efforts to this end.
