Director General of the Office of the Crown Prince of Dubai, Saif bin Markhan Al Ketbi, has honoured Emirati inventor Ahmed Abdullah Majan, while speaking before a number of CEOs and heads of departments.
Markhan praised the efforts of Majan and his academic inventions and discoveries, as well as for his hoisting the UAE's flag at scientific events, adding, "Thanks to his persistence and his talent, Majan has become a role model, not only for Emirati or Arab youths, but also globally, since his inventions are well known across the world from his participation in academic competitions." He added, "This honour and the international reputation of Majan's achievements is an honour for the UAE's sincere scientific efforts, which have been attained by Emiratis who chose to raise the country's flag." Markhan also said, "While we are preparing for the celebrations of the UAE's 43rd anniversary, it is better for us to harvest the fruits of the Union in scientific, inventions and innovative fields." Ahmed Majan expressed his happiness at receiving the honour, extending his thanks and appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai for his continuous support.
