Samsung C&T wins US$415 mln in orders from Singapore

Samsung C&T Corp., a South Korean trading and construction company, said Monday that it has clinched two orders worth US$415 million to build a subway segment in Singapore and a port facility in Vietnam. Under a deal valued at $212 million with Singapore's Land Transportation Authority, Samsung C&T will construct a section of the 21-kilometer Downtown Line Stage 3, including a 683-meter underground tunnel and a station.
