The Sharjah Police recently added a new service to its website, enabling people with special needs apply online for various services. The service launched by Major-General Humaid Mohammed Al Hadeedi, Chief of the Sharjah Police, aims at enhancing the level of services to people while being up-to-date with the latest development. The service titled “Approval request for special needs” will enable the special needs people to submit their application for parking spaces and other privileges online. Another e-service, enabling applicants of driving licence to apply online, has also been launched.This comes as part of Sharjah Police Traffic Department initiative to make the transaction process easier.   Sharjah - Gulf times
