President Abdel Fattah El Sisi
Cairo - MENA

The technological zones which were opened in Assiut and Borg el Arab will contribute to enhancing Egypt's international status in areas related to the IT and communications, affirmed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday.

These areas will also contribute to attaining equal opportunities among the various governorates through providing 4,000 direct jobs in each area during the first year, added President Sisi during the opening of the International Conference on Information & Communications Technology.

The opening of the technological zones in Assiut and Borg el Arab will contribute to increasing exports, either in the software industry and providing IT and communications services, he added.

He, meanwhile, said that establishing the two technological areas in Assiut and Borg el Arab in less than a year is considered an achievement by all means.
