The Ministry of Interior and the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation, Etisalat, have announced an array of new e-services scheduled to be launched in the coming few days, prior to GITEX 2014. This step is in pursuance of their commitment to develop police services aimed at boosting community members' security and safety.
Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Child Protection at the Ministry of Interior, said, "The cooperation with Etisalat embodies the vision of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, who described the partnership between the public and private sectors as fruitful and successful, and contributes to the development of police services. It also personifies the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Interior to develop smart interactive services via mobile phones.
Major General Al Nuaimi reiterated the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to achieve its vision according to the U.A.E.'s National Agenda for the next seven years, via an array of projects and initiatives related to police and security work.
Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director-General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police, noted that the development and sustainability of smart services are the most effective means to ensure customer satisfaction and to provide security enablers that would achieve the leadership' vision intended to maintain national gains.
Saleh Al Abdooli, Chief Executive Officer of Etisalat said, "We are honoured by this strategic partnership with the Ministry of Interior. We will be supporting and marketing future services and technology bundles at GITEX 2014, designed to provide security and safety for all community members. This approach stems out of Etisalat's firm belief in its valuable societal role in enhancing individual and family security for all social classes."
