Omantel has launched the second carrier for 3.5G network in Al Amerat with the objective to increase the network capacity and improving service quality. As a result of this major network improvement from today, Omantel customers residing in Al Amerat will get enhanced mobile broadband speeds through the Company's 3.5G network. "We are delighted that our teams have successfully completed this major project ahead of schedule to provide our customers with a better experience during the Eid holiday-. "The new improvements will mean a lot to our customers. In addition to increasing the network capacity, our customers will be able to experience an even enhanced browsing and download speeds resulting in an improved overall customer experience- Al Hamer added.
