SAMSUNG
Jeddah - Arab Today

In response to recently reported cases of the new Galaxy Note7, Samsung conducted a thorough investigation and found a battery cell issue.
Samsung stated that this move is in line with its commitment to produce the highest quality products. “We take every incident report from our valued customers very seriously.”
As of Sept. 1, there have been no recorded cases in Saudi Arabia. “Only very few cases have been reported globally and we are currently conducting a thorough inspection with our suppliers to identify possible affected batteries in the market. Our customers’ safety is an absolute priority at Samsung; we have stopped sales of the Galaxy Note7,” the company stated.
Customers who already have Galaxy Note7 devices have been advised to call 800-247-4357, in order to know where to return the device and get their refund with full retail price of SR2,899.
Samsung has collaborated with the Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Investment to announce this recall in order to get to all the consumers in the shortest possible time.
“We acknowledge the inconvenience this may cause in the market but this is to ensure that Samsung continues to deliver the highest quality products to our customers,” Samsung stated.
