YouTube says it is launching a new "face blurring" feature for users who want to post videos of public events and sensitive content on YouTube. Google said it realized newsworthy content often ends up on YouTube before it does on television and wants users to feel more comfortable about posting such videos, SlashGear reported Wednesday. Users can navigate to their account by selecting their YouTube username and then choose "Video Manager." An Edit button on the right of the video will take users to a page that offers where "Enhancements." Choosing "Additional Features" will reveal the face-blurring tool, which can automatically blur all faces in the video. At the moment it's an "all or nothing" feature, blurring every face in the video or leaving them all visible, SlashGear reported. However, users can preview the effect on their video before choosing whether to save it and send it live, YouTube said.
