Music streaming service Spotify says Android users can now set up stations based on genres, artists, and playlists, matching the features found on iOS devices. After announcing last month it would be adding a "radio station" feature to iOS devices, the Swedish company said Android users would be seeing the same functionality starting Tuesday, U.S. tech site Slash Gear reported. Spotify operates a free music streaming service supported by ads, but also has two subscriptions tiers for unaltered listening. Unlimited costs $5, but only the Premium $10 option allows for Spotify usage on mobile devices. As in the iOS version, Android users will be able to create personalized stations based on artist, album or playlists, with unlimited listening as part of their premium subscription, Spotify said. The Spotify update for Android is available on Google's Play Store.
