Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a top-tier financial institution, has received an award for Best Treasury Services in the Middle East by EMEA Finance. The award recognises ADIB's comprehensive range of bespoke treasury products developed by its Treasury Division.
EMEA Finance has recognised ADIB's strength as a customer focused bank with an in-depth knowledge of the market and the infrastructure in place to deliver innovative products and solutions to their clients. This award shows that the quality of ADIB's expertise is not limited to Islamic finance, but can be judged across the entire financial spectrum.
ADIB has one of the most innovative Islamic Treasuries in the region. The division offers customers 100% capital protected investment products such as based on performance of select Smartphone manufacturers and Auto manufacturers and was the first to create an Islamic Collateralised Murabaha Agreement, a Shari-compliant tool to help banks to improve their liquidity management. Beside Investment Products and regular treasury products, ADIB Treasury actively works with its customers to provide tailor-made solutions to manage their foreign exchange and profit rate exposures.
EMEA's Finance Treasury Service Awards recognises the best treasury, cash management, trade finance and FX services providers across the EMEA region. The awards are based on various performance and structural factors, such as market share and growth, innovation and corporate strategy.
So far this year ADIB has won 10 prestigious awards from such entities as Islamic Finance News, Euromoney Magazine, the Freddie Awards and the Banker magazine.
