Ajman - Arabstoday

Ajman Bank on Monday announced the launch of its new Roadmiles Credit Cards. Roadmiles, which is available with Classic, Premium, and Platinum Credit Cards, is the first loyalty programme in the UAE where points can be redeemed for fuel. The Roadmiles programme is simple, clear and transparent. Ajman Bank Credit Cardholders earn one Roadmile for every dirham spent on their Card. Accumulated Roadmiles can be redeemed for Fuel Cards to be used for free fuel at petrol stations  across the UAE. Mohamed Amiri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Ajman Bank said: “Ajman Bank continues to listen to its customers and develop products and services tailored to meet their financial needs. The Roadmiles range of Credit Cards is the next step in our journey to create a comprehensive suite of market-leading fully Sharia compliant retail banking products for our existing and new customers.” Asad Batla, Group Head of Retail Banking, Ajman Bank, said: “The demand for Sharia compliant Credit Cards continues to increase in the region. Customers who settle their balance in full each month will not be subject to a monthly fee. Customers can withdraw up to 100 per cent of their limit in cash and have a grace period of up to 50 days.” “The Roadmiles range gives customers more flexibility in managing their finances, while rewarding their loyalty in a new and innovative way. With more than two and a half million cars on the UAE’s roads, the potential for this programme is enormous,” Asad Batla added. Petrol prices in the UAE have increased by as much as 85 per cent in the past five years. Customers can offset some of this expense simply by using their Roadmiles Credit Card. With one road mile earned for every dirham spent, the fuel savings will quickly add up. Ajman Bank is a financial services institution committed to transforming the experience of Islamic banking. The Bank plans to roll out the Roadmiles redemption programme at petrol stations across the GCC. Ajman Bank is a young, agile Islamic commercial bank built on the values of integrity, trust and transparency. The bank provides a wide range of value-driven banking services in the UAE for individual, business and government clients, all in compliance with Shariah principles. Ajman Bank seeks out the market’s best products, people and technology in order to deliver what customers want, how they want it, delivering real value and recreating that human touch lost in modern banking. Headquartered in Ajman and strongly supported by its government, Ajman Bank is the keystone of the emirate’s economic development strategy and is in a position to benefit from its growth and potential.
